Because our work involves professional time and government processes, please read this policy together with the engagement letter for your specific matter, which sets out the refund terms that apply to that work.
1. How our fees are structured
Our fees fall into two parts, and they are treated differently for refunds:
- Professional fees — what we charge for our time, expertise, and work on your matter.
- Government fees and statutory charges — amounts paid to authorities (for example, trademark filing fees, MCA incorporation fees, or stamp duty). Once paid to a government authority on your behalf, these are non-refundable to us and to you, as we cannot recover them.
2. When you may be eligible for a refund
You may be eligible for a refund of professional fees where:
- You cancel an engagement before we have begun substantive work on it; or
- We are unable to commence the service you paid for, for reasons attributable to us.
In these cases, we will refund the professional fees paid, less any government fees, statutory charges, or third-party costs already incurred or paid on your behalf.
3. When refunds are not available
Refunds are generally not available where:
- Work has already been substantially performed or completed;
- A filing, application, or registration has already been submitted to the relevant authority;
- Government fees or statutory charges have already been paid on your behalf;
- A delay or rejection arises from incomplete, inaccurate, or late information provided by you;
- The outcome (such as approval, registration, or refund timing) is determined by a government authority and not by us. As set out in our Terms & Conditions, we do not guarantee outcomes that depend on third parties or authorities.
4. Partially completed work
Where work has been partly performed at the time of cancellation, any refund will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, reflecting the work done and costs incurred up to that point. We will share a clear breakdown with you.
5. How to request a refund
To request a refund, contact us on WhatsApp at the number below with your name, the service involved, and the reason for your request. We aim to acknowledge refund requests promptly and to resolve them within a reasonable period after reviewing your engagement.
6. How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are made to the original payment method or bank account used for the payment, unless otherwise agreed. The time taken for the refund to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. The policy in effect at the time of your payment applies to that payment.
